Anne Frank’s real name is Annelise Marie Frank. He was born on June 12, 1929 in Frankfurt, Germany. He had an older sister named Margot, who was three years older than him. This is 10 interesting Anne Frank facts.

1. Secret Annex

Anne Frank and her family moved to Amsterdam in 1933 where they stayed until July 6, 1942. This is the day they have to go into hiding. The family hid in the annex, behind a bookcase in the workplace Otto. Hiding place was built by Otto and consists of four rooms which Anne called the “Secret Annex.” They hide in here for two years with five others. They’re playing Monopoly, reading books and listening to music. Anne will practice ballet at night after everyone in the building home.

2. Anne’s Diary

Anne Frank received her milk from her parents on her birthday to-13 while staying in the annex. He named it Kitty, because he writes for a cat that he must leave.

3. Arrest Frank

Franks was found by police after an anonymous tip. They were arrested on August 4, 1944. Anne is first sent to Auschwitz and then to Bergen-Belsen where she died seven months later.

4. Concentration Camp

Anne and her sister died of Typhus. Edith, Anne’s mother, died of starvation in the camps. Otto is the only survivor. He was given Anne’s diary.

5. Anne Frank’s Legacy

Otto then published the diary of Anne in 1947. It was translated into English in 1952. Attachment is now a museum.

6. Although Anne and Hannah both Jewish, only she went to a Hebrew language class. Even so, they still find time to play and do homework together.

7. At the weekend, Hannah and Anne went to the office of Mr. Frank and they called every time from room to room with the phone because every room in the building line. Also, sometimes they pour the water out the window to people walking. Then they quickly hid.

8. Miep Gies saved Anne’s diary and has now become a very famous book and has been translated into 67 languages.

9. Anne and her sister Margot died at Bergen-Belsen concentration camp typhus when Anne was fifteen. Her mother died of starvation and his father was the only one of the Frank family to survive.
